Using DataCenter Dashboard, you can get accurate, real-time measurement of your IT power consumption, even without installing smart power distribution units. OmniCenter uses an advanced algorithm to compute power utilization based on system performance metrics and provides rack-by-rack power statistics over time, total power usage statistics, and the ability to set power consumption goals and measure your progress towards them. Detailed reporting of power usage on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, including peakhour utilization, is included. DataCenter Dashboard also includes the ability to set realtime alerts for power consumption or temperature thresholds.

DataCenter Dashboard also allows you to control power on your networked servers remotely, allowing under-utilized servers to be powered down during periods of inactivity and powered up when needed, without installing complex or expensive agent software or hardware controls on every system. Windows, Linux, Solaris, HP/UX and AIX are supported on most server hardware platforms.
