Clientless access from anywhere

OmniCenter® is designed to be cross-platform and cross-browser compatible without the use of Java applets, so there is never anything to download, install, or run in order to get the full functionality of OmniCenter® from anywhere in the enterprise using only a standard web browser. By avoiding the use of Java applets and client programs, compatibility issues with installed run-time environments are completely avoided, and performance is optimized by making minimal use of client machine resources.

Active Directory integration allows large enterprises to centrally manage password and user account resources without having to administer a seperate credentials database.

Additionally, the web interface is specifically designed for cross-platform compatibility with complete support across PC, Mac, Solaris, and Linux for FireFox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Safari. This allows administrators in highly diverse environments to be guaranteed access to all management information, statistics, and reports, from anywhere, regardless of platform.

Integrated RSS support

OmniCenter® also provides API access, including integrated RSS feeds for all network issues and alerts, so you can keep in touch with the entire network via an RSS-reader, or seamlessly integrate OmniCenter data into your own Intranet or portal applications.

Agentless data collection

OmniCenter® is designed to collect data using interfaces and APIs already present on your network devices, servers, VPN gateways, and wireless access points, insuring maximum visibility for applications, service, and performance statistics without installing agent software.

The OmniCenter® web interface allows for secure and easy configurability from anywhere in the enterprise. Intelligent design and default settings allow for minimal administration and quick deployment. OmniCenter® has been used for years in some of the world's largest and most complex environments, and has been optimized for easy configuration and management of hundreds or thousands of servers and network devices.
